FILMMAKER.
ARTIST.

I’m Amaru Zeas-Sigüenza, a filmmaker and creative director from Cuenca, Ecuador, based in Austin, Texas.

My work spans more than 18 years in 3D, VFX, and animation, including writing and directing Amazon Web Services’ Picchu. Today, I combine that craft with generative AI in a hybrid approach to filmmaking.

As Creative Director at Griptape, part of Foundry, I also build tools that give filmmakers more creative control. My films have received eight awards and at least 40 festival selections, alongside recognition among the world’s Top 100 3D artists.
